Babies Room!
I had really wanted to wait until we had everything together and ready before taking pictures and posting little Hadfield's room...but then I remembered that half of the decor needs the baby to arrive before we can put it up...and that I really want to show off what we have right now!
.
This is the glider my co worker April rocked her last two babies in, non of her daughters wanted it, and since I am her adopted daughter, she was nice enough to re cover it in a fabric to match my nursery and give it to baby and I. I made the little pillow guy with extra fabric and the cute cow 'milky' was a gift from Violet. We are planning on getting an ottoman to go with the rocker.
Nightstand
I got this nightstand from my grandpa's house & decided with a little paint it would be perfect for baby's room |
Babies room doesn't have any windows. So, I figured the bright yellow would brighten things up just great! |
Crib
This is our 'tank' of a crib. So super sturdy and BIG! My mom was nice enough to buy me lots and lots of fabric, which I was able to make the bumpers, a crib skirt, blanket, car seat cover and pillow out of. Slowly but surely I am getting better and more confident at sewing...some of the earlier things I did really look best when not examined very closely! haha.
Once baby is born we are going to hang her name in yellow letters above her crib. So it wont forever be so white and bare. Just have to wait to see her so we hopefully will know what to name her!
Rocker & pillow

Changing Station
This is her changing station. Sans the changing pad, which we still have to get. That'll go right on top of her dresser. The baskets are to hold diapers and wipes. Those super cute pictures are compliments of 'aunt' Michelle! they match perfectly! ps if it weren't for Damon, everything would be slightly off center and crooked. I'm not patient enough to measure and fix everything, but he is, so everything looks that much better thanks to him!
Book Shelve
Damon really wants to have lots and lots of books for baby, we have a ways to go, but a good start. Love that DI has good books in great condition for cheap. We need to make a lot more runs there! We are planning on putting family pictures and her newborn pictures above this...another thing we have to wait for.
And this is just a random light cover we found for cheap and couldn't help but get! It matched so great!
Not super glamorous, but I feel like giving the whole tour. This is her storage room/closet
This guy technically isn't in her room...its in ours. We got this from Damon's parents and are sooo grateful. It's going to be her little bassinet and changing station for the first little while. Got it all stocked up and ready for her to come.
Carseat cover
With the last last last of my fabric I made a car seat cover! Found a tutorial on pinterest and did ma best
Damon calls her stroller/carseat blizzard ready, haha. I think it turned out real great!
Too cute
These are just a few of the super cute things we've gotten that just need to be showed off.
Drop mat from Susan!
Lots and lots of adorable shoes!
Super soft baby blanket from Lauren
Handmade bibs from Susan
Adorable crib quilt from Susan! the little elephant ear even 'pops'
Little baby is so lucky! That's the end of the tour!
Adorable, adorable, adorable. What more can I say? Good job Mama Katelyn and Papa Damon. Baby will be welcomed in style!
