Father's Day

Damon's always been an exceptional Dad and I've had the pleasure of watching his sweet and tender relationship with our two little girls grow and evolve.  We are looking forward to the new dynamic of a son, but I'll admit, it's hard to imagine a bond more sweet than what a Dad has with his Daughters.  Here some favorite photos that fill in the time from our last Father's Day, that help illustrate how important Damon is to our girls, and our family. 

Our Dad is:

 ...the perfect broad shouldered pillow, a soft strong landing for even the softest of falls.  

 ...a great nose horn, always at the ready to give out a big honk.

...the go to film documentor of our lives. Between my photo's and his videos our children have almost their whole lives recorded.

...a fishing instructor 

...an amazing, and much appreciated, provider of mac n' cheese

...the baby suicide watch.  Stella is to water, what moths are to light. 

... often covered in sticky kisses and ticklish thighs.

...a solid grounding finger to help scavenge for even the most precious of sticks. 

...a motorcycle clown car driver- of sorts.

...completely adored by this silly head.  Those eyes are twinkling because of him, even though Indie wanted to be (and had been) crying.

...a tamer of wild pink bears.  Don't be fooled their growl is fierce but their snugs are sweet. 

...an amazing sport and support to all family picture taking ventures.  (for real though, he's a saint)

...a great respecter of blankies, bows and bedtime

...the propelling force of all adventures 

...a pilgrim for the masses. A true man's man!

...the master of Dad jokes and knock knock jokes alike.
