Snivley Hot Springs

The river had overflown resulting in the complete encapsulation of our little family by everyone huddling together to feel warm.  It was common to have one leg scalding hot from the springs flow while the other leg prickled with numbness as the frozen river water encased it. Despite the two extremes our kids played happily for 3 hours. Becoming experts at polar plunges to then boiling a bit of skin. I was so impressed they took it in stride and didn’t hear one complaint. (Not even from Stella. Chief Complaint Officer).
