Mug Date!

So, Damon & I...(mostly I) just made a 'date jar' & used it for the first time this weekend.  I painted popsicle  sticks and wrote down things we love to do and have wanted to do.

The most expensive dates were written on red sticks, things like going to a bed & breakfast or rock climbing. Pink is moderately expensive, like driving up the canyon to look at stars & buying hot chocolate from our favorite gas station (literally it is so yummy!)  Ps only in college would buying hot chocolate be considered moderately expensive haha. Annnd the white are spend no money dates.

Well we pulled out decorating mugs this weekend and had a blast!
Loved Damon's man mug!  Like always he spent forever researching how he wanted to design it. He is great at researching things out, and I am definitely more impulsive.
I had started...
....designed
...designed some more

And finished....

By the time Damon had started his mug. haha!

He decided on a viking mug. Definitely fitting for the 'man mug.'

He did a really good job making it look like wooden planks!
We Baked 'em at 350 for 30 minuets. Don't have a dishwasher so I don't know if they are dishwasher safe, but we haven't had any problems with hand washing.

First date jar date was a for sure success!
