Starting Traditions

Coming from a family where we didn't have a lot of holiday traditions, or really any traditions, I knew I wanted to make some strong ones with Damon & for our future family. So, thanks to Pinterest, we have begun our very first Hadfield family tradition!  

The Thankful jar! This little guy sits on our book shelve with a pen and a pad of sticky notes. Anytime something great happens, big small, silly or serious we try to remember to jot it down on a sticky note and drop it in the jar  On Christmas eve, the plan is to read all the little notes so we can remember and focus on all the great things that happened to us throughout the year.  Also, a great way to help us to focus on the positive throughout the year.  We got a late start this year by far, but still super excited.
