Cousin Time

Lauren came down for Indie's birthday party with the kids.  She stayed for a few days and it was great to see the kids spend some time together. Although four kids, 4 and under with two pregnant mamas can make for some pretty exhausting adventures!  Worth it!  Cousin time is always great, but it doesn't beat getting some long overdue sister time! 

We took the kids to the park, and the big kids had a great time playing pretend.  The toddlers took turns falling, getting hurt, and being upset they weren't big enough to do all the things by themselves, amidst being really happy. 

Playing is hard work

 Stella was displeased with where Damon had perched himself.  She moved him a few steps forward and then just left. 

Signing 'owie', anytime anyone cries, Stella assumes they got a bonka on the head.

We also took the kids to the zoo, by accident.  We were geared up to go to Babby's Farm.  We got the kids in the car, looked up the address, and realized they were closed.  Boo.  So, we did zoo as a consolation prize.

Stella tackled Indie with a spontaneous hug, such a sweet moment! 

No worries, we did make it to Babby's after all!  The kids loved it, as always. 

Cora tried to feed the biting zebra and got just so sad when I pulled her away.  Stella was certain it was because she got a 'bonka' on the head. Really, we think it made her tender little heart too sad to be pulled away and told no. 

I missed it, but Stella kissed this unsuspecting goat on the lips. 

She was very sad no other animals would kiss her.

Phillip was a little startled by the camel's lips.  He was not a fan. 

We did lots of playing outside back at my In-Law's house. 

Cora LOVED holding the kitten for a little bit, and was very sad when he left.  

Phillip was saddy, and Stella was very concerned. 

Boo to not seeing this crew again til Christmas!
