Jump Creek

Before all the sickness & crazy happened, we took advantage of one of the last really warm days this year had to offer and went to Jump Creek.  We were so tickled to have it all to ourselves. 

Both kids packed in their own stuff, while I packed Finn & Damon packed in our food.  Packed in might be a generous term.  It's such a beautiful easy, and short hike. So, it's more like we leisured in.  But still. The girls pulled their own weight and felt so big, and I love that. 

Sometimes when Stella packs her own stuff, she enlists Damon to pack her.  By sometimes, I mean all times.  All of the times. Every of the times.

We saw lots of lizards and a snake. So fun!  

Every of the time buddies.  So sweet. 

 

The water was freezing, but Stella would not stand to be left behind from her hiking buddy.  She Boss Baby walked all the way in after Damon.

Is it just me, or does Indie have the longest legs?  Little teeny thing. 

 

After flirting with the freezing water, trying to get the courage to go under the waterfall like Damon had, Indie was finally ready. 

She made it to about her breast before bailing out and going into a cat like panic.  Maybe next year. 

 

Indie LOVES these stepping stones.  She'll walk them and walk them and walk them all day if she could.
