4th of July

We spent the night of the 3rd at Damon's parent's house so we could be up early early to catch the Star parade.  It's Indie's very favorite thing.  The 4th is Indie's favorite holiday, second only to the holiday of her birth. Which we were sad to inform her is not an actual holiday.

I told Finn no to touching the electric fence.  It hurt his little feelings.

July 4th, Parade morning!

Getting a picture of all 3 kiddos while looking at me is impossible. Looking and smiling? Forget about it. So instead, we get bucket head, snack head, and mid-move pants.

No face Finn.

Little known fact about Finn. He loves itty bitty chairs, and he has a rational fear of small curbs.

Firework time.

 Water Balloons

Usually when we do water balloons the kids feverishly throw the balloons into the grass quicker than we were able to fill them up.  This time, they played like big kids.

We tossed and threw and ran and giggled for a long amount of time. It was seriously so fun.  Finn stayed back and kept an eye on all the crazies who were lighting off their expensive fireworks while it was still light out.

Stella got soaked.

We took a bike ride, played catch, ran, then finally decided it was dark enough for sparklers.

The kiddos all stayed up til past 10:00 and they all did great.  Such a great 4th, just our little family!
