Labor Day weekend

We went to Utah to visit with family for the long weekend. Our first order of business was hitting labor day sales and returning some clothes I splurged on at Carters while in Washington. Indie and Phillip were so excited to see each other.

We have taken a picture of the babies in this chair at Traverse Mountain once a year.  It's crazy to see how much they've changed!

We squished all of them on one chair.  They're going to love this tradition when they're 14!

Stella and Cora's chair chronicles begin.

Indie got to play with Grandpa Great a lot this trip. He got a big kick out of how well Indie was talking and conversing.

Then we went swimming.

Estelle's first time in the water. It was a bit on the lukewarm side, which translated to cold really quickly for this little babe.

Cora was a bit saddy without her Mom. That pout lip is amazing!

These two are so silly!

Grandma Great is making Pioneer clothes for the whole family. She started because some family was participating in This Is The Place Heritage Park's pioneer reenactment. She had a lot of fun doing it, so she's making some for everyone.  Indie was so excited for her dress. Grandma had to fit it to her, and make some adjustments, but it really was the cutest!

After dinner we had some s'mores. Indie roasted hers by herself and surprisingly they turned out amazingly golden brown.

Sunday before Church we played outside on the play structure. Indie found these legwarmers in her bag and decided she had to wear them. She loved them!

After church we went up Bridalveil.

It was a little bit coldy and stormy.

Lauren, Grandma and I all went to Savors and hit up their Labor Day sale.  I'm a sucker for a deal!  Then we went to lunch at Red Robin. It sounded like fun, but then we remembered we have toddlers and babies.  It was still fun, just a little overrun by the crabby demands of overtired teenies.

We took one more (chilly) swim before having to drive back to Idaho.

Driving around our old neighborhood was a little too saddy for me.  I miss Utah! All in all it was a great trip.
