Phillip's 3rd Birthday!

Phillip's 3 years old!  We just love that little guy.  We've missed being so close to him and Lilo.  However, it was so fun to be able to come down to celebrate how big he is getting!

We spent the day at the aquarium, which was super cool for everyone.

This turtle meandered into our party room and just chilled with us for a while. So fun!

We had all the treats and opened gifts.

Then we had a special encounter with the animal of Phillip's choice.

Good Ol' Chester the Iguana.  Indie was a little timid to disinterested over Chester.  She did however feed him some food, and gave him a hug. When I say hug, I mean she ran up to him and tried to hug the tip of his tail on her face haha. It was so silly and sweet.

We then walked around the aquarium and had a great time.  They had so many things to do and look at.

We stood in line to feed these birds.  While waiting, Indie poked her fingers through the mesh netting and got a little nip from one of the birds. She was less than excited from that point on, but seemed to cautiously enjoy watching Damon feed the birds.

Indie loved their small touch pool, while the rest of us fed Sting Rays.  That was so fun!

Cora Lou the monkey.

We all had a blast, and left to go have an after party at Lauren and Felipe's house. All the parties!

We spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa Greats. It was a bit of a hit and run stay, as we went early the next morning to go visit a friend. Indie composed Grandma Great a Happy Birthday note before we left. (It was her Bday)

We then went on a walk, around Utah Lake.

Indie collected sticks and deemed them wands for each member in our family.

Damon abandoned her up there and it was a travesty.

I love how quickly sadness is rectified and forgiveness given when you're 3.

Right before we went back home we soaked up the last of the sun with the Portus' at the park. It'd been so long since we'd been able to be outside without the air hurting our faces.

We miss Utah! Sure love that Portus' family and were so happy to spend time down there for Phillip's Birthday.
