Stella's second birthday party

If you couldn't already tell, birthdays are kinda a big deal over here.  For Stella's birthday this year I wanted to take her horseback riding, instead of buying her a gift.  She and Indie have more than enough toys. I hate clutter.  I wanted to give her the gift of a fun experience.

I had a hard time finding a place that would take a two year old riding.  So, we combined her party with her 'gift' of horseback riding.   It felt weird to have someone else host, and not be throwing together hundreds of decorations and treats. We all had fun though!  

This post is filled with basically the same picture a thousand times, because a little girl on horseback is too precious. I couldn't narrow it down.

 

The riding helmet was heavy and slightly big on Stella's little head.  Her head bobbed and swayed under the weight of it with each step the horse took.
