Celebration Park

We took a picnic out to Celebration park, to explore and play.  The weather was threatening rain, and it was close to bedtime so we didn't stay long.  We had a blast, though, so we'll for sure go back.

Even though there were red ants, along the trail, Indie continued to adventure without complaint.  In the beginning Damon & I tried our hardest to keep her distracted when we saw them. Turns out she noticed them anyways and we had no clue because she was so chill about it.  Indie historically has had major anxiety over red ants.  In the past she has gotten into fits of obsession over where the red ants may be lurking. Her cereal, her clothes, the backyard, her snacks, the sidewalk, the cabin? We've gone the rounds over this irrational fear.  So, for the first time since developing the fear, Indie came into contact with red ants, and didn't even blink an eye.  So proud!  (and still in shock!)
