Estelle is 3 months old

Estelle is 3 months old!  She has discovered her tongue and loves to suck on her fists.   She has started to reach for toys while playing on her play mat, she will occasionally grab my hand and bring it to her mouth to try and suck on. She is drooling a little off and on.

She likes to kick when she nurses and has started to pop off while nursing to smile and coo at me. (My very favorite, it's so sweet!)

Estelle loves to sit up and stand.  Her head is still a bit floppy, but she likes to pretend she's big.  She isn't the biggest fan of tummy time, but still does so much better than Indie did.

She loves to talk and she loves to be talked to. If you say "oooooooooooh" it will usually get her chatter going. She has had another cold the past 2 weeks, for a bit of the time she lost her voice and couldn't speak or really cry at all. It was so pitiful. Broke our hearts.

She's already had 3 colds in her short little life and we hate it.  Poor baby. She's still a happy baby though. She loves to smile and is very generous with her toothless grin.  She has even giggled a handful of times.  She is extremely easy going and relaxed.  If it weren't for sleep troubles she would be the perfect baby.

Sleep is still a mess.  Estelle seems to favor staying up later and sleeping in later. I don't know if that's indicative of being more of a night owl, or if she just takes a long time to settle in.  We still think she might have reflux, It's so hard to know. We usually start bedtime around 7:30 (as that's when she's tired) and then most nights she will finally fall asleep and stay asleep by 9, some nights it's not until 11. Don't even talk to me about naps. Ugh.

Hopefully her cough from her cold will be gone soon and we will be able to tell if she really is in discomfort from silent reflux or if she's just being a baby and wants to be held to sleep.  As always though, once she is down and it sticks, she will sleep nice long stretches. Her longest being 10 and a half hours.

She also got her very first sunburn.  I am at a loss of how. I kept her in the shade the whole day!  It was a bit of a fail day for us.

Estelle still has a bit of a flat head. Much to my dismay. I'm overly worried about it and anxious for her next appointment to see if it had improved or if we will need to get a helmet to correct it. We also noticed that in the sun, her hair and eyebrows have a bit of a red tinge to it.  All and all we just adore this tiny little thing!  She's growing up so fast. (even though some days feel extremely slow)
