Santaquin Camping Trip
We took the kids tent camping for the first time. All the way in Utah up Santaquin Canyon, with my dad's side of the family. They're all such great, kind people!
Finn was majorly overtired the first night, we thought it'd be a lot warmer then it ended up being. So poor baby was up a lot in the night until we bundled him in layers and layers of clothing and heaps and heaps of blankets.
He was so precious and chunky in his little bear suit.
The girls slept great. We don't have sleeping bags for them, so it was blanket-topia on the floor. I got up many times in the night to readjust Indie's blankets or to help Stella get out from under my cot and back onto her mat. Although, once the girls are asleep, they sleep hard! So, they slept everything. Which was nice.
We went up a little trail on a little hike. And had a lot of fun.
Damon carried Stella the whole time. So strong!
My girls adopted Uncle Tom as a new best friend. He was such a good sport with them.
We survived night two!
We drove to Payson Canyon to hike up to the Grotto. It was the first place Damon & I hung out together, all alone. Awe, precious. The Trail was super crowded, but it was still fun.
Indie was in heaven climbing up all the rocks. I love seeing her test her limits.
Cheetos break.
It's not camping if your kids aren't bathing in dirt, right?
Group hug! We'll definitely break out the tent again before the summer is over! This was the last time we went camping, in case you haven't had your fill of Hadfield photos. We were just babies!
