Halloween 2016
We had a great Halloween. I love this picture of Inide ps. Ignore her hair, She had taken a bath and I didn't do anything with it. Anyways, I'm getting ahead of myself.
We went to Ihop first thing, they were having a deal where the kids got free 'scary' pancakes. It was fun! Even though Indie only ate the whipped cream.
We invited play group and I think all the kids had a good time, even though they had a hard time waiting for the food. Estelle dumped a whole ice water on my lap at one point. Little octopus arms.
At 3 the girls and I went out to Trick o' Treat to main street. We had a great time. Lots of walking.
Indie stopped at every point she could, to smell the flowers.
They had a spot mid Main, handing our free chili and hot dogs. Indie doesn't very often say she misses Damon or ask for him while he's at work. Not that she doesn't love it when he's with us, I think she just knows not to question the norm of him being gone at work.
Anyways, when we sat down with our free food she said she missed him and wanted to come again so Daddy could be part of it. I was thinking the same thing. Apparently free food made us both nostalgic for Damon. It's his favorite thing haha. Stella woke up just in time to snag a free saltine as well.
Indie fell asleep in the car on the way home from Main, we grabbed Peter Pan and headed to another Trick or Treat place.
It was getting pretty cold! We finished up there then went to the mall for our last spot!
The whole crew!
Back at home Estelle and Indie took stock of their spoils. Estelle was sooooo Extremely tickle to be involved.
For a good while she lay on her tummy and just constantly swept the candy off the table and all over the room.
Look at that load! Indie picked out a few candies to keep and the rest we put by her door at night for the 'Halloween fairy' to come.
Indie really wanted to watch Peter Pan after all the festivities were done. In the morning she woke up to Hungry Hungry Hippos where her candy had been. She's been wanting it for a month now. Which is ages in Indie time.
